Why I Love My Wedding Day Assistants

If you’ve worked with me or seen me in action on a wedding day, you’ve probably noticed that I never do it alone!

Behind every ceremony, flipped reception space, and perfectly timed processional, there’s an assistant (or two!) who helps make it all happen.

They Make “Behind the Scenes” Look Effortless

While I’m managing vendors, coordinating the ceremony, and keeping an eye on timing, my assistants are everywhere. Setting up decor, lighting candles, pinning boutonnieres, giving hugs to anyone who needs one, and somehow being in two places at once.

They Care About You As Much As I Do

Every person who works beside me knows how important it is to me that you feel supported. My assistants aren’t just extra hands, but an extension of the care and intention I bring to every wedding. They’re there to bring you waters (and cocktails), fluff your dress before photos, or run to grab a forget item at the hotel. They anticipate needs before they’re spoken and I joke that my assistance and I share a brain, just a look a they know what needs to be done.

They Make My Job (and Your Day) Better

Having a second set of eyes and hands on wedding day means everything when you’re running around. One of my assistants might be checking in with the florist while I confirm the DJ’s cue timing. Another might be setting up the reception space while I run the ceremony rehearsal. Me and my team understand that today is one of the BIGGEST days in your life, it’s easy for us to show up with positivity, kindness, and excitement - because you’re getting freakin’ married and we’re celebrating right along with you!

Why I’m So Grateful for Them

I couldn’t do what I do without them - and I wouldn’t want to. They show up early, stay late, work hard, and really care. They’re kind, intuitive, and just as invested in your wedding day as I am. Having assistants I trust means I can focus on the bigger picture - vendor flow, timing, and guest experience, while knowing that every detail is being handled.
